Huge thanks for starting this, its amazing. This made it pretty easy to monitor the log. I saw you mentioned on reddit you were looking to see if you could add/remove bans which really puts fail2ban on another plane. |

Thank you so much for the kind words and support – I truly appreciate it! I'm currently preparing the next release (planned for today or tomorrow), which will already take things a step further: While full integration with Fail2Ban jails will take a bit longer, to get things right this intermediate step using UFW for ban/unban actions, along with basic reporting features (e.g., how often an IP has already been reported – more to come here!) should already make the tool more useful and show that it's heading in the right direction for user-controlled ban management. Just to mention again: I'm not a developer by trade – just a sysadmin with an interest in coding – so I'm intentionally taking things slow and careful to build something clean and useful in the long run. I'm really curious to see how the next version will be received. It's still a transition step, but I believe it will clearly show that the Project points in the right direction. |

Addition: With the upcoming release, I’m planning to include an experimental Fail2Ban integration, which will allow the blocklist.json to interact directly with Fail2Ban jails. UFW is installed on many systems by default, so it’s a convenient intermediate step for me to ensure that banning works reliably — without rushing into full Fail2Ban integration and risking interference with existing setups. |

Whoa thats impressive. I also use UFW too, its a great tool. Hopefully you are testing on a local machine or atleast have an IP excluded lol. |
