Summary

I’d like to propose a TRPG-specialized AI chatbot framework built on Semantic Kernel, designed to support solo and collaborative play, especially for users who lack access to traditional tabletop communities. This concept blends narrative depth, emotional resonance, and urban cultural themes—particularly inspired by Tokyo’s iconic districts—with the technical flexibility of SK.

Motivation

Many young or isolated users seek meaningful creative outlets but lack the social infrastructure to engage in traditional tabletop RPGs. AI-driven companions can offer a bridge: not just as game masters, but as emotionally intelligent co-creators. By leveraging SK’s orchestration, memory, and planner capabilities, we can build persistent, responsive agents that support long-form storytelling and adaptive gameplay.
