Thanks for contributing!

However, I am unable to load your program to spim with the following error message:

spim: (parser) Register 1 is reserved for assembler on line 4 of file input.s
	  addi $1, $0, 1 # initialize reg. 1 to 1
	       ^
spim: (parser) syntax error on line 5 of file input.s
