JS8Call messages on a little handy display

Hi, I wanted something that would show me what traffic is on my JS8Call app, drawing my attention when a new message comes in. And I wanted something that'll keep doing it, even when my PC is in sleep mode or the device is locked due to timeout or whatever.

Device: Lilygo TTGO T-Display V1.1

So it draws attention by being normal brightness when a message comes in, and then dimming to low brightness over 30 seconds. When it becomes bright on a new message it catches my attention nicely. Keep in mind I used this at my desk at home during the night.
