Features and Functionalities

1. Account Management

• Create Accounts: Users can create an account with a username, password, and a PIN to securely access their bank account.
• Multiple Accounts: The system allows users to manage multiple accounts under one profile (e.g., savings, checking).
• View Account Details: View personal account details like account number, account type, balance, etc.

2. Balance Inquiry

• Check Balance: Users can check the current balance of their account at any time. The system provides an up-to-date view of the available balance.
• Account Overview: Displays detailed information on the account type, account number, and transaction history.

3. Deposit and Withdrawal

• Deposit Funds: Users can deposit money into their account by specifying the amount they wish to deposit.
• Withdrawal: Users can withdraw money from their account, provided they have sufficient funds. The system checks for available balance before processing the withdrawal.
• Transaction Limits: The system allows setting daily withdrawal limits for added security.

4. Fund Transfer

• Transfer Between Accounts: Transfer funds between your own accounts or to other users within the same system.

• Transfer History: Every transfer made will be logged in the transaction history, with the amount, date, and account involved.

5. Transaction History

• View Transactions: Users can view a complete history of their transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.

6. User Authentication and Security

• Login System: Secure login with username and password.
• PIN-Based Authentication: A four-digit PIN is required to access accounts, ensuring additional security.
• Session Timeout: For security, the session expires after a period of inactivity.
• Encryption: All sensitive information like passwords and transaction data is encrypted to maintain privacy and security.

7. Interest Calculation

• Savings Account Interest: For users with savings accounts, the system automatically calculates interest on the current balance.

Getting Started

Installation

1. Clone the Repository:

2. Navigate to the Project Directory:

   cd BANKING-APPLICATION-IN-PYTHON

4. Run the Application: To start the banking application, run:

   python banking_app.py
