To use this plugin as FlutterFire's implementation for Desktop, add it to your app's pubspec.yaml along with the main plugin:

Looks like this is not an error with FlutterFire, you're using another plugin native_pdf_renderer and seems to be causing the error.

That seems to be a transitive dependency. Will have to learn how to track this back to a plugin. Thanks!

Could you try running the example application and see if you get the same error?

Also, run in the root of your project:

after flutter clean and flutter pub get I still get the error that pubscpec.yaml is missing in firebase_core_desktop when running dart pub deps

Also, I believe it's flutter pub deps for Flutter applications

So after unsucessfully running flutter clean followed by flutter pub get twice I uncommented firebase_core_desktop in pubscpec.yaml to be able to finally run flutter pub deps. And after removing the comment (i.e. re-activating firebase_core_desktop) and re-running flutter pub get - flutter pub deps now runs without missing firebase_core_desktop's pubspec.yaml 🙄

When I see the pubspec missing error, I usually run flutter pub cache repair
It usually means that a pub get was interrupted before finishing downloading that package. Alternatively you can go into the pub cache and delete just the one folder for that dependency and then rerun flutter pub get
