If you say, mqtt over websocket, there is a 'Path' field which is mandatory, prefilled with /mqtt. With these settings its not connecting to a broker.

MQTTX Web connects fine to broker.emqx.io on my side, so the client likely works. To diagnose yours, please share:

• Connection details: host:port, protocol, MQTT 3.1.1/5.0, auth/certs
• Exact UI error + screenshot, repro steps (≤3)
• Broker type/version + server logs
• Network env (VPN/proxy/firewall); can other clients connect?

Also open Developer Tools and paste Console errors. With this info we can switch from guesswork to fix-work.
